This is my fourth year at Charter Academy of the Redwoods and I am looking forward to a great year. I will be teaching 8^th U.S. history, 10^th grade world history, and 12^th grade government/economics at Sequoia Career Academy. I will also be the 10^th grade advisor. In addition, I will be teaching 8^th grade U.S. history and 12^th grade government/economics at Redwood Collegiate Academy. My office hour is on Mondays from 3:55 to 4:45 p.m.

My education includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. I have a deep love for history and I strive to instill that interest and passion in my students. It’s hard to know where we are headed if we don’t know where we’ve been. My personal interests include reading, gardening, the coast, hiking, and road trips.
